Corvuss American Academy

​Corvuss American Academy, located near Mumbai, is India's first international residential school dedicated to student-athletes. The academy offers a U.S.-based curriculum accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), seamlessly integrating academics with elite sports training across seven disciplines. Situated on a 44-acre state-of-the-art campus in Karjat, Maharashtra, Corvuss is committed to nurturing young talents, enabling them to excel both academically and athletically, and preparing them for global collegiate opportunities

Tennis program

Designed for players aged 11 to 18, this program provides a comprehensive training experience focused on skill development, physical conditioning, and competitive readiness. Players participate in two tennis sessions per day, along with a daily fitness session to enhance strength, agility, and endurance.

A personalized tournament plan ensures structured progress, supported by post-match analysis, private sessions and tournament-specific preparation for continuous improvement. Singles match play every week offer additional competitive exposure, while swimming pool recovery sessions aid in muscle relaxation and injury prevention.
A touring coach accompanies selected tournaments, providing expert guidance to help players excel in high-pressure match situations.

During summer and winter vacations, the players will travel with the coaches to compete at various National and Asian tournaments 
 

To further enhance competitive exposure, players will participate in special weekly camps and inter-academy matches, providing valuable match play experience in a structured environment.

Academics

Corvuss American Academy offers a globally recognized U.S.-based curriculum, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), ensuring a seamless academic and athletic pathway for student-athletes. The curriculum follows Common Core State Standards for subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, History, and Geography, and the Next Generation Science Standards for Science. In collaboration with Holston Academy, USA, students have access to a wide range of electives in Arts, Business, and Technology, providing them with a comprehensive academic foundation. The academy follows the Advanced Placement (AP) pathway, offering AP courses that enhance college readiness. With small class sizes, personalized learning, and a focus on critical thinking and real-world applications, Corvuss ensures that students receive a holistic education while excelling in their chosen sport.
 

To facilitate a smooth transition from different curricula such as IGCSE, IB, CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards, Corvuss implements a structured Curriculum Transition Framework. This includes academic assessments, placement tests (MAP test), and personalized orientation programs to help students adapt to the American curriculum. A review of transcripts and subject-specific competencies ensures appropriate grade placement, with additional support services, tutoring, and counseling provided as needed. The flexible system allows students to customize their education based on their individual strengths and aspirations. With 23 credits required for graduation, AP and elective courses, and a strong emphasis on academic excellence and leadership, Corvuss American Academy prepares students for success in top global universities while fostering their athletic potential.

Sports Science

​At Corvuss American Academy, the Sports Science Center is dedicated to optimizing student-athletes' performance through a comprehensive approach that includes Nutrition, Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, and Sports Psychology.​
 

Nutrition: Led by experienced professionals, the nutrition program focuses on educating student-athletes about proper dietary habits to fuel their training and recovery. Personalized nutrition plans are developed to meet individual needs, ensuring optimal performance and health.​
 

Strength & Conditioning: Certified strength and conditioning coaches design and implement training programs tailored to each athlete's sport and position. These programs aim to enhance physical attributes such as strength, speed, agility, and endurance, while also focusing on injury prevention.​
 

Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation: The on-site physiotherapy team provides services to address injuries and facilitate recovery. Utilizing evidence-based techniques, they work closely with athletes to develop rehabilitation plans that promote safe and efficient returns to sport.
 

Sports Psychology: Recognizing the importance of mental resilience, the academy offers sports psychology services to help athletes develop skills like focus, confidence, and stress management. This holistic approach ensures that student-athletes are mentally prepared to face competitive challenges.

Residence & Dining

Corvuss American Academy provides flexible boarding options to accommodate the diverse needs of its student-athletes. Students can choose from day schooling, a 5-day boarding program—allowing them to return home on weekends—or a full-time 7-day residential program for an immersive campus experience
 

Dormitory Options

3-4 Bed Sharing – Equipped with two toilets and two showers, ensuring convenience and privacy for students
 

Student Amenities

Each student is provided with:

  • A personal cupboard for storage

  • A study table and chair to facilitate academic focus

  • Laundry services
     

The academy offers a variety of balanced meal options, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences, ensuring that all dietary needs are met.​
 

While specific meal timings are structured around the students' daily routines, they typically include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and scheduled snack breaks to maintain energy levels throughout the day. The academy emphasizes the importance of healthy eating habits, integrating fresh fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into the menu.

Fee Structure

Note: The fee structure for international students is similar to that of Indian nationals. However, additional charges may apply for visa processing, international travel arrangements, and other related services.​

Additional Information:

  • Payment Schedule: The annual fee covers Academics, Full time Tennis, Fitness, boarding, lodging, laundry, routine on site medical attention and free email and web access and is payable in two half yearly installments.

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid: Corvuss American Academy offers merit-based scholarships and need-based financial aid to eligible students. Applicants are encouraged to inquire about these opportunities during the admissions process.​

  • Miscellaneous Expenses: Expenses such as uniforms, textbooks, personal sports equipment, and extracurricular activities may not be included in the Annual Tuition Fee and could incur additional costs.
